If the line wasn’t so bad, the parking so terrible, and there was a little more seating available this would be a great place. As it were, true BBQ fans have to come here to say you did, and the food is really spot on but the experience is a bit miserable.
It has been a few years since I was here but I’ve been here 3-4 times. My favorite BBQ in Kansas City so far and I’ve tried most of the famous ones. You won’t be disappointed.
Amazing and friendly service. Called ahead and told them I was coming with a group of 14, of which 8 were young teenage boys. They were very accommodating. We ordered 3 of the big sampler plates and that was plenty of food for our group. They were out of Ribs and Brisket which was super sad and the reason why I’m giving only 4 stars on the food. The pulled pork was very good, the burnt ends were fantastic, and the sausage was incredible. The turkey was fine but not remarkable. I’ll have to come back to try the Ribs and Brisket another time. The smokers are in the parking lot which I always appreciate that level of transparency and knowing the food doesn’t have to go far to get to my plate.
I had burnt ends and sliced brisket. Burnt ends were 9 out of 10. The brisket was good but not impressive. 6 or 7 out of 10. I was impressed with the selection relatively and the amount of seating. Friendly service and the food came out very fast.
The best thing I ate was the ribs, and the sausage. That sausage had some kick and the ribs weren’t lacking in flavor either. The moist brisket was good with the pulled pork was a little bland. The mac and cheese was fantastic, but the other sides my group had seemed pretty ordinary. All around a great meal and I’d go back.
Maybe the first time I’ve ever seen a smoked BBQ buffet. If you get the chance to come here during lunch, you can experience an amazing buffet. I had three different types of ribs. Two different types of brisket, sirloin sausage, chicken, pulled pork, and mac and cheese. I wasn’t up for trying the spicy baked beans, but the standard baked beans were quite delicious. My favorite dishes were the St Louis dry rub ribs and the sausage.
Brought some friends from out of town and we enjoyed this place together. Impressed with the Bison Ribs and the brisket was good. Everyone was happy and full. Service was great.

The food is good and Breck was in need of a BBQ place so its a welcome addition. Prices are on par for main street and the staff was friendly.

Been here many times. Pretty good BBQ. Brisket, ribs, and pulled pork are reliably good. Service was a little slow but acceptable.
