I’ve been to a few other Rudy’s locations over the years. It is a solid family-style BBQ chain that usually isn’t spectacular, but is perfectly acceptable. However, on this trip to this Co Springs location, they knocked it out of the park on all accounts. The brisket was excellent, the sausage was delicious, but somehow the pulled pork was absolutely exceptional! I’ve had excellent pulled pork all across the country including in the Carolinas where they take such pride in it. This pulled pork was one of the best I’ve ever had. Period. Also, the creamed corn was excellent, baked beans (Rudy’s beans) were also good. I didn’t taste it, but three of my kids had the baby back ribs and they really enjoyed them.
