My second time here and disappointed to see they no longer have the family platter. Between my wife and I we tried 4 meats. The Burnt Ends were the highlight... big time. The brisket was also pretty good. The Rib tips were a disappointment. Harder to eat than normal ribs and while cooked properly they were without much flavor. The smoked chicken was good, but not special either. The tots and fries were delightful. They season them with the same rub that goes on the brisket which is a fun idea and worked really well.
Amazing and friendly service. Called ahead and told them I was coming with a group of 14, of which 8 were young teenage boys. They were very accommodating. We ordered 3 of the big sampler plates and that was plenty of food for our group. They were out of Ribs and Brisket which was super sad and the reason why I'm giving only 4 stars on the food. The pulled pork was very good, the burnt ends were fantastic, and the sausage was incredible. The turkey was fine but not remarkable. I'll have to come back to try the Ribs and Brisket another time. The smokers are in the parking lot which I always appreciate that level of transparency and knowing the food doesn't have to go far to get to my plate.
